The Spring League announced today that former Super Bowl champion linebacker Brandon Marshall will be joining the Generals for the 2021 season. Marshall, 31, partook in the HUB Football Camps this year prior to today’s signing.

Before he was last seen in a Raiders jersey in 2019, although he played his last NFL snap-in 2018. His most notable statistical season is in 2014 when he recorded a career-high 113 combined tackles, 91 solo tackles, and 11 tackles for a loss.
In 2017 he reached a new career-high in assists and sacks, with 31 assists and 3 sacks. He won the Super bowl with the powerhouse 2015 Denver Broncos defense, that season he recorded 102 combined tackles, 72 solo tackles, 9 tackles for a loss, 4 passes deflected, 2 forced fumbles, 1.5 sacks, and a single interception. During his time in Denver, he switched from Right to Left inside linebacker throughout his time.
Marshall will be joining a linebacking core consisting of Jordan Williams, Jordan Moore, Dexter Wright, Antonio Wabanimkee, and Obinna Iheoma.
