Former second-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks Christine Michael is getting a second chance to resurrect his career with the XFL. Today the XFL announced that Michael will be part of this weekend’s Summer Showcase taking places June 7th in Dallas Texas.
After playing for four different teams in six seasons, including two stops with the Seattle Seahawks, the running back will get another shot at a pro football career with the XFL.
Michael was taken with the 62nd pick in the 2013 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He played in just 14 games for Seattle from 2013 to 2014. Christine was backup to Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin.
He was later traded to Dallas and then bounced between the Redskins and Colts. He played in just one game for the Colts in the 2018 season.
He is the first of many former NFL names we will be hearing about in the coming weeks. Could former Browns Quarterback Johnny Manziel be on this list? Stay tuned to XFL News Hub for all the player details and full coverage of all eight Summer Showcase events.

Johhny Manziel had many chances. Nobody cares. Nothing but trouble. Bring him in and you will lose fans. If you open it up for him then open it up for other trouble players. Vince stick to your word. If you had any record or trouble in the past you cannot play in the XFL. So how much money did he pay to keep his name out there!
