
In front of a passionate crowd of 33,142 at The Dome, the Seattle Sea Dragons secured a crucial 30-12 victory over the St. Louis Battlehawks to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Sea Dragons improved their season record to 6-3, equaling the Battlehawks, who also stand at 6-3.

The game started with a dominant first quarter from the Sea Dragons, with an 8-3 lead. They maintained their momentum throughout the game, scoring in every quarter, while the Battlehawks could only add points in the second and third quarters. Seattle’s 10-point final quarter sealed the victory.
Sea Dragons quarterback Ben DiNucci had an impressive performance, completing 21 of 31 passes for 260 yards, with an average of 8.4 yards per attempt. He threw two touchdown passes but was intercepted once. On the other side, AJ McCarron, Battlehawks’ quarterback, completed 18 of 32 passes for 186 yards, averaging 5.8 yards per attempt, with one touchdown pass and two interceptions.
Seattle’s rushing game was highlighted by T.J. Hammonds, who carried the ball seven times for 59 yards, averaging 8.4 yards per carry, and scoring one touchdown. DiNucci also contributed with a rushing touchdown. For St. Louis, Gary Jennings led the team with four carries for 35 yards, but the Battlehawks failed to find the end zone on the ground.
In the receiving department, Seattle’s Jahcour Pearson stood out with seven catches for 115 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, St. Louis’ Marcell Ateman caught seven passes for 99 yards, but it was Darrius Shepherd who scored the team’s lone receiving touchdown.
Seattle’s defense was equally impressive, with Bryce Thompson and Qwynnterrio Cole both recording interceptions. St. Louis’ Lukas Denis also managed to get an interception for his team.
In the kicking game, Seattle’s Dominik Eberle scored one field goal on two attempts, while St. Louis’ Donny Hageman converted both of his field goal attempts.
With the win, the Sea Dragons remain in contention for the playoffs, and they will look to build on this momentum as they head into the final game of the season.
