Roughnecks LB Edmond Robinson Moved To Active Roster With Falcons

Houston Roughnecks LB Edmond Robinson was moved to the 53-man roster by the Atlanta Falcons. He has taken the roster spot vacated by Takk McKinley who was waived.

Robinson has played in 5% of the defensive snaps and 27% of the special teams snaps so far in the 2020 NFL season. He has seven tackles and one quarterback hit. He has made a name for himself on special teams.

He was a 7th round pick of the Vikings in 2015. He also had stops with the Jets and Cardinals. Robinson played his college ball Division II Newberry College.

Robinson was taken in the 3rd round of the Phase #3 portion of the 2020 XFL draft by the Roughnecks. He finished the 5 games XFL season with 22, tackles, 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
