The Orlando Guardians remain winless at the halfway point of the season. The team hopes to change that when they take on the Seattle Sea Dragons on Saturday afternoon.
Orlando put forth its best performance of the season in last week’s 35-32 loss to the Vegas Vipers. Despite the losing effort, the Guardians appear to have found their starting quarterback going forward. 27-year-old Quinten Dormady returned to the team for the first time since Week 1. The former Central Michigan star finished last week’s game 22/25 for 256 yards and two touchdowns, by far the best game of any Guardians’ quarterback this season.
With Dormady already being named the starter for Week 6’s battle against Seattle, the Guardians could be on the verge of their first victory of the season.

Guardians Injury Report
For the second straight week, head coach Terrell Buckley will likely have his full squad at his disposal. Orlando will have the upper hand as the Sea Dragons are facing several significant injuries on both sides of the ball.
Guardians-Sea Dragons Prediction
The Guardians showed the world that despite not winning a game thus far, the team is going to continue to fight week in and week out.
Even so, Orlando will have its hands full with a Seattle squad that started the season losing back-to-back games, however, winning three straight since that point. It is important to note that The Sea Dragons are also coming off of a big win, upsetting the Houston Roughnecks just one week ago.
The emergency of Dormady will play a big role in how this game ultimately turns out. Buckley will need similar, or better production from his new starting quarterback who shocked the league with his last performance. Dormady made an emphasis on getting his playmakers involved in the offense and allowing them to showcase their skills. Two of the main beneficiaries of this were Charleston Rambo and Cody Latimer, who combined for 13 catches, 193 yards, and two touchdowns.
If Buckley is able to get more contributions from his defense, the Guardians certainly have a chance to protect their home field and upset the Sea Dragons in the process.
