LA Wildcats Arrion Springs Gets Waived After On COVID List

A week ago LA Wildcats CB Arrion Springs was put on the Pittsburgh Steelers Reserve/COVID-19 List. Now he has been cut from the team.

The Steelers needed to cut their training camp rosters down to 80 players. They had already released three other former XFL players. The team had to wait to make the move until Springs came off the reserve/COVID-19 list. That is by NFL rule.

Springs was one of nine former XFL players to sign with the Steelers. Now that number is down to five. Cavon Walker, Jarron Jones, Saeed Blacknall, Anthony Coyle, and John Keenoy are still with the team.

Springs finished the 5 games XFL season with 16 tackles and one interception.
