Game 4 of Week 3 in the XFL season saw the Houston Roughnecks remain undefeated and beat the San Antonio Brahmas 13 – 22. The Brahmas are now 1 – 2.
The Brahmas struggled to get anything going on offense. Jack Coan finished with just 64 yards on 20 attempts with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
As a team, the Brahmas rushed for 98 yards. Jacques Patrick finished with 8 carries on 36 yards and 1 touchdown. Kalen Ballage had 10 carries for 35 yards
Alize Mack lead receivers with 3 catches for 27 yards on 4 targets.
Travis Jonsen and Kalen Ballage both had 4 targets.
For the Roughnecks, Brandon Silvers threw for 278 yards on 35 attempts with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. He is proving, after 3 games, to be the league’s offensive MVP.
Max Borghi continues to dominate on the ground rushing for 74 yards on 15 carries. Brycen Alleyne had 7 carries for 25 yards.
This week it was Jontre Kirklin with the big game for the Roughnecks. He had 6 catches for 77 yards on 7 targets and 2 touchdowns. Deontay Burnett also had 6 targets and 2 catches for 31 yards.
