Notable NFL, AAF Players, Videos From XFL St Louis Summer Showcase

St Louis was the eighth and final stop on the XFL Summer Showcase tour. After this showcase, expect teams names and logos, and players signings next.

This weekends showcase featured around 140 players. That is more than most of the showcases, except for the one in Tampa Bay two weeks ago. This event featured former NFL players like Trent Richardson and Connor Cook.

Here are some notable former NFL and AAF players;

David Cobb(RB) was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He also played for San Antonio Commanders (AAF).

Jonas Gray(RB) played for the New England Patriots when they won Super Bowl XLIX in 2014.

Zach Mettenberger(QB) was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He also played for the Memphis Express (AAF).

L’Damian Washington(WR) played for the Birmingham Iron (AAF).

Alton “Pig” Howard(WR) was dismissed from the University of Tennessee in 2015 for violating team rules. He had a brief stint with the Chicago Bears.

Clay Harbor(TE) was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints.

Luis Perez(QB) was awarded the Harlon Hill Trophy in 2017 as the best football player in NCAA Division II. He also played for the Birmingham Iron (AAF).

Akeem Hunt(RB) played for the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs. He also played for the Orlando Apollos (AAF).

Steven Johnson(LB) played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. He also played for the Arizona Hotshots (AAF).

Jacquies Smith(DE) played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, and Oakland Raiders.
