XFL Week 7: San Antonio Brahmas (2-4) Preview, Odds, Prediction, Depth Chart

The San Antonio Brahmas have a bit of life as the season draws to a close. The Brahmas came away with a much-needed 15-9 victory over the Arlington Renegades on the road last week.

This week, the team hits the road for the final time this season. San Antonio travels to the Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada for a crucial game against the Vegas Vipers.

Vegas enters this game in need of some momentum. After winning their first game of the season in Week 5, the Vipers were on the wrong end of a 29-6 rout against the St. Louis Battlehawks last week.

This is a big game for both the Brahmas and Vipers. Can San Antonio keep their playoff hopes alive? Or will Vegas pull off their second victory of the season? Let’s take a look at things from the Brahmas side of things.

San Antonio Brahmas Injury Report

The Brahmas have confirmed game designations for the following players:

OUT: OL Norman Price (knee), OL Maea Teuhema (ankle), WR Calvin Turner (foot)

QUESTIONABLE: QB Jack Coan (ankle)

PROBABLE: WR Travis Toivonen (head), DT Kamilo Tongomoa (chest)

San Antonio Brahmas Prediction

The Brahmas could turn back to recently acquired signal caller Kurt Benkert in this game should Coan not be able to go. In any event, the Brahmas could have a big day offensively against Vegas.

The Vipers defense has allowed 20 or more points on five occasions, and the one occasion they didn’t allow 20 points, they allowed 18. Vegas allowed 32 points to the winless Orlando Guardians in Week 5, as well.

If the Brahmas are firing on all cylinders on Saturday, they could enjoy a big day like they did against the Guardians in Week 2. That being said, be wary about betting the over here.

Prediction: San Antonio Brahmas 22, Vegas Vipers 10
