XFL Chairwoman Dany Garcia Talks 2023 XFL Training Camp

In December, XFL Chairwoman Dany Garcia dropped the XFL timeline on her Instagram page. She shared three photos from a meeting in October with herself, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Gerry Cardinale. The meeting took place at the RedBird Capital Partners office in New York City.

The timeline was broken down like this;

June 18, 2022 – XFL player combine

January 9, 2023 – XFL training camp begins

February 18, 2023 – XFL season begins

Today, Garcia reiterated the Training camp timeline with the following post on her Social media.

Training camp took place in the XFL 2.0 era after the October XFL draft. Players from all eight teams converged in Houston for camp. Then went back to their home cities to prepare for kick-off in February. It looks like the XFL 3.0 era is following the same timeline.

Both XFL and USFL scouts will be in Orlando on January 15th for the Hula Bowl.

Of course, all three dates are subject to change, but it is nice to see the first post from the XFL in 2022 be about events in the future. Q1 of 2022 is looking to be a big news month for the XFL and USFL.
