Week 1 the Vegas Vipers look to get their first win of the season against the Arlington Renegades (Feb. 18th/ 12PM PT). The fight for the first win of the season will start off in a shootout between Kyle Sloter (QB/ Arlington) and Bryan Scott (QB/ Vegas). Both QB’s will look to show off their top tier talent against each other just like they did in the USFL.
The Vipers in Week 2 (Feb. 25th/ 4PM PT) look to host the DC Defenders in their first home game of the season. This game we have another USFL QB matchup with Jordan Ta’amu now being in DC. In Week 3, the Vegas Vipers get another home game against the Seattle Sea Dragons (March 4th/ 4PM PT). The Vipers will look to beat a Seattle offense that includes big names like Ben DiNucci (QB) and Josh Gordon (WR) who will immediately test the defense’s secondary.
They then travel to DC to try and sweep them for the season. After the DC game they get 3 home games in a row against the following teams, the Orlando Guardians (Week 5), St. Louis Battlehawks (Week 6), and the San Antonio Brahmas (Week 7).
After a 3 home game stretch they have to travel for the next 3 weeks to matchup against the Battlehawks (Week 8) and Roughnecks (Week 9). The regular season finale for the Vipers has them playing in Seattle in a 6PM primetime game.
The Vipers look to have what could be a serious playoff contending team. Rod Woodson, a hall of famer and super bowl winner will coach this team and will try to push them into playoff contention as much as possible. Both sides of the ball for this team are seriously dangerous and are stacked with former NFL players. Vic Beasley (OLB/ Pro Bowler/ All-Pro/ 7 Year Vet), Martavis Bryant (WR/ 4 Year Vet), and Rod Smith (RB/ 7 Year Vet) are just some of the examples of veterans on the team.
