The San Antonio Brahmas put up a fight in their Week 3 matchup against the Houston Roughnecks. But unfortunately, the team came up just short. San Antonio fell to 1-2 on the season after a 22-13 loss in Houston on Sunday.
The team now turns their attention to this coming Saturday, and a trip out west. The Brahmas have a date at Lumen Field with the 1-2 Seattle Sea Dragons.
The Sea Dragons finally broke through in Week 3 after two very close losses to begin the season. Seattle survived a slugfest with the Vegas Vipers on the road, winning 30-26 in one of the season’s most entertaining games.
Both teams are looking to get back to .500 this week, but only one team can do so. Let’s take a look at the Brahmas side of things as they prepare for the final leg of this three-game road trip.

Biggest Key To Victory
Stop Ben DiNucci: The Sea Dragons’ record this season is very deceiving. They have lost two games, but those losses were by four and two points, respectively. Seattle is a good football team that has gotten incredibly unlucky. Their fortunes turned around last week, all thanks to veteran quarterback Ben DiNucci.
Last week, DiNucci threw for 377 yards against the Vipers defense. He found paydirt four times through the air. His chemistry with former NFL star Josh Gordon was on full display in that game. DiNucci is now in a three-way tie with Brandon Silvers (Houston) and AJ McCarron (St. Louis) for the most touchdown passes this season. He is tied for the league lead in yards per attempt, and he has the highest completion percentage of any quarterback to start more than a game.
If the Brahmas have any designs on winning this game, they need to stop DiNucci. This will be a tall task without two of the team’s better defensive linemen, but it’s the biggest thing they need to get right if they want to come away with a win on Saturday.
San Antonio Brahmas at Seattle Sea Dragons Prediction
The Brahmas come into this game beat up. Injuries have been a factor this season, and that remains true ahead of this game. San Antonio’s defense has performed well, but they’ll need to be a level above that to win this game. Seattle’s offense finally took off last week, and that likely continues on Saturday. The Sea Dragons come out of this one victorious.
Prediction: Seattle Sea Dragons 25, San Antonio Brahmas 20
