The NFL continues to show interest in XFL talent, as six more players from the league have received training camp invitations. This comes just a few days after 40 XFL players were already invited to NFL training camps, and more invitations are expected following the XFL Championship game on May 13th in San Antonio.
The six new invitees are:
- Devin Darrington (RB, Orlando Guardians) – Washington
- Quinten Dormady (QB, Orlando Guardians) – Buffalo
- Deandre Johnson (LB, Houston Roughnecks) – Cleveland
- Mike Rose (LB, St. Louis Battlehawks) – Miami
- Bryce Thompson (S, SeattleSea Dragons) – Miami
- Lakiem Williams (LB, St. Louis Battlehawks) – Washington
Quinten Dormady, the Orlando Guardians’ quarterback, was recently named the XFL News Hub Josh Davis Award winner. He completed 138 of 205 passes for 1,506 yards, throwing 10 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
Running back Devin Darrington, also from the Orlando Guardians, had 67 rushing attempts for 294 yards and scored 4 touchdowns.
