The San Antonio Brahmas are reeling a bit after losing their third consecutive game last week at home. The Arlington Renegades came back to squeak out a 12-10 victory at The Alamodome.
Now, the two teams meet again for the second straight week, this time in Arlington. The Brahmas’ already skidding offense suffered a blow this week, with the news that quarterback Reid Sinnett will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.
The Brahmas were active leading into this game, signing players and even making a trade. San Antonio traded linebacker Drew Lewis to the Houston Roughnecks in exchange for quarterback Kurt Benkert.
How will all this roster shuffling impact the game this Sunday? Let’s take a look at the Brahmas’ XFL Week 6 matchup against the Arlington Renegades.

Did Not Practice: QB Reid Sinnett (foot), OL Norman Price (knee), WR Travis Jonsen (back), WR Travis Toivonen (head)

San Antonio Brahmas XFL Week 6 Prediction
The Brahmas struggled offensively before this game, and now there’s even more uncertainty. There is a non-zero chance San Antonio enters this game without Sinnett and Coan active.
That would mean the team has two quarterback options. Either they go with Jawon Pass, who hasn’t played this season, or Kurt Benkert, who just joined the team a few days ago. That’s a less-than-ideal situation for them to be in.
Coan has not been ruled out as of this writing, so bank on him being the starter until told otherwise. The Notre Dame product gives San Antonio the best chance to win as of right now.
The Brahmas can win this game. It comes down to the defense standing up and shutting the Renegades down at every turn. This game will be close, though I’d strongly advise against betting the over here.
The Brahmas have a lot going on, but they rally here. San Antonio bounces back for a massive win on the road as they try to salvage a playoff spot.
Prediction: San Antonio Brahmas 12, Arlington Renegades 8
