LA Wildcats Arrion Springs Put On Steelers Reserve/COVID-19 List

With NFL training camps set to open this week, the sporting world is wondering if football can return to some normalcy in 2020. This is important not only for NFL fans but XFL fans as well.

As XFL News Hub’s own Mike Mitchell said, we are rooting for the NFL to play a full season as it will help the XFL chances of a 2021 season.
Today we learned that as camps begin to open LA Wildcats CB Arrion Springs was put on the Pittsburgh Steelers Reserve/COVID-19 List.

Last week the NFL and NFLPA came to an agreement to create the reserve/COVID-19 list. Players are immediately added to the list after testing positive for COVID-19 or going under quarantine due to being in close contact with an infected person.

Teams are not permitted to disclose which reason a player is added to the list, per league policy. Springs certainly won’t be the last player added to the list this NFL season.

Springs is one of nine former XFL players to sign with the Steelers. He was originally drafted in the first round, eighth overall in the Phase #4 of the 2020 XFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Vipers. He was later traded to LA for CB Jalen Collins. He finished the 5 games XFL season with 16 tackles on one interception.
