As The Spring League continues to announce their rosters via social media, the network that has the rights to broadcast their games this fall has announced the TV schedule.
Games that make it on television begin October 27th with the Generals versus the Conquerors, at 8:00pm eastern in the San Antonio bubble, at the Alamodome.
During this announcement by the network, the list of head coaches and their teams were also released:
- Jerry Glanville – Conquerors
- Bart Andrus – Generals
- Ted Cottrell – Blues
- Steve Fairchild – Alphas
- Terry Shea – Aviators
- Chuck Bresnahan – Jousters
We also know that former Roughnecks DBs coach Derrius Bell, who worked under Cottrell in Houston, will be the defensive coordinator for the Blues. Glanville was also a coordinator in the XFL with the Vipers.
The Conquerors seem to be the team FS1 likes the most, as they have the most games that will be televised. Each team will play at least one game on the network, and these games are only the ones that will be broadcasted, this is not the full schedule:
Five of the scheduled 12 games will make the airwaves, not including the championship game to be played on November 24th.
The announcement of team names and logos for the fall season happened last week, along with the tentative schedule. Players and coaches have been slowly reported over the last couple of days.
The Spring League is a developmental league mainly for the NFL, but, players that have taken part in the league in the past have gone on to play in the AAF, the XFL, and the CFL.
