Doug Whaley XFL SVP Of Player Personnel Attends FCS National Bowl

The 7th annual SPIRAL FCS BOWL All America All-Star game was Dec 12th in Daytona Florida.

“The FCS National Bowl is an annual post-season college football all-star game consisting of the top players from college football FCS schools. The inaugural FCS National Bowl was played in December 2014 at FIU Stadium and moved to Daytona Beach Stadium in Daytona Beach, FL in 2016 which is home to FCS Bethune-Cookman Football. The National Bowl and FCS Bowl all star weekend for Non-FBS schools has been the only games of its kind to attract numerous NFL & CFL scouts.”

Not only were NFL and CFL scouts in attendance. You can add staff from the XFL.

You can see in the top left picture Doug Whaley. The XFL’s Senior Vice President of Player Personnel. Whaley was originally part of the XFL 2.0 era and was brought back for version 3.0.

Here are more pictures from the event.

We should be seeing more XFL personnel at these type of events as the XFL season begins to build up. Based on the timeline release by Dany Garcia the XFL Combines are June 2022.
