According to multiple reports, the Cincinnati Bengals have signed Tampa Bay Viper RB Jacques Patrick. Patrick was rated as one of the top RB’s in the XFL by our own Mike Mitchell. Reports have his deal for three years.
He is the first XFL player to sign with the Bengals and the second Viper to sign with an NFL team. The other is LS Nick Moore.
Patrick was selected in the Phase #5 Open Draft portion of the XFL draft. He played his college ball at FSU from 2015 to 2018, sharing the backfield with current Vikings star RB Dalvin Cook.
He finished the 5 games season with 254 rushing yards and two touchdowns. His breakout performance came on March 1st against the DC Defenders, where he tallied 21 carries for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Patrick went undrafted in the NFL and is only 23 years old.
