Vince Amey New Defensive Line Coach For XFL Los Angeles

We can confirm that Vince Amey is the new Defensive Line Coach For XFL Los Angeles. He will be working under Head Coach/GM Winston Moss. This is Moss first coaching staff hire.

Amey is the former defensive line coach for the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football (AAF). The AFF folded several months ago without completing their inaugural season.

He is also the first coach who was actually in the original XFL back in 2001 playing for The Las Vegas Outlaws. He was a defensive lineman.

Amey played his college football at Arizona State. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the seventh round (230th overall) of the 1998 NFL Draft but only played one season. He had stops in NFL Europe and the Arena League before joining the University of Arizona coaching staff in 2011.
