St. Louis BattleHawks fans who attend the inaugural XFL game at The Dome will receive a rally towel, courtesy of Ameren Corp.

ST. LOUIS, MO – The XFL St. Louis BattleHawks and Ameren Corporation announced today a new partnership designating Ameren as a founding partner of the team and the presenting partner of the BattleHawks’ first-ever home game on Sunday, February 23 at The Dome at America’s Center. The St. Louis BattleHawks Kickoff Game Powered by Ameren will be broadcast nationally on ESPN beginning at 2 pm CT.
St. Louis-based Ameren, the region’s electric energy provider, joins Anheuser-Busch as a founding partner of St. Louis’ first born-and-raised modern pro football team.
“The BattleHawks and Ameren are two community-centric brands that proudly serve the St. Louis region,” said Kurt Hunzeker, president of the St. Louis BattleHawks. “We are excited to team up through our shared love of football to help power the excitement around professional football’s return to St. Louis.”
All fans attending the BattleHawks home opener will receive a commemorative St. Louis BattleHawks Kickoff Game Powered by Ameren rally towel to help power the BattleHawks’ players throughout the game.
“Ameren has a rich tradition of supporting the communities we serve, and there is nothing like a good sporting event to energize and bring St. Louis together,” said Mark Lindgren, senior vice president for Ameren. “We are excited to partner with the BattleHawks to continue the great sports tradition we have in our region.”
The BattleHawks begin their season at the Dallas Renegades on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 4pm CT on ESPN. The team travels to Houston the following week to battle the Roughnecks on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 5pm CT on FS1 before returning to St. Louis for the home opener.

I’m not a St. Louis fan but I’m glad they have some form of pro football back in that city. The Rams screwed up going back to Los Angeles as their fans are the
worst in the NFL.
