
Tampa Bay was the seventh stop on the XFL Sumer Showcase tour. The last one will be July 13th in St Louis. Last weekend there were stops in Seattle and Los Angeles.
The full roster for the XFL Summer Showcase in Tampa Bay can be found here. This weekends showcase featured over 150 players. That is more than any of the other six previous showcases.
Here are some notable former NFL players;
B.J. Daniels(QB) – played for the Salt Lake Stallions(AAF). He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Matt Jones(RB) – drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles.

Vince Testaverde Jr(QB) – played for the University at Albany. Is the son of former NFL QB Vinny Testaverde.
Ryan Mallett(QB) – was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He also played for the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens.
Matt Elam(SS) – was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He had legal trouble in 2017 and played briefly in the CFL in 2018
Antonio Morrison(LB) – was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Played with the Green Bay Packers in 2018.
Marcus Roberson(DB) – played for the Toronto Argonauts(CFL).
George Johnson(DE) – played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints.
Malcolm Bunche(OT) – played for the Arizona Hotshots(AAF). He also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats(CFL), Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants.
Brandon Washington(OT) – was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played for the Toronto Argonauts(CFL) from 2016 to 2018.

The XFL should take a look at former Montreal Alouettes QB Rakeem Cato. Very much under the radar, this QB just led his team, the Gulf Coast Fire of the A-League of Arena Football to an undefeated season, capping it off with an 11 touchdown, 80-20 victory in the championship game.
