With the 2019 NFL Draft complete. There are still a ton of undrafted players who could wind up on XFL rosters in 2020. Offensive line play and playmakers seem to be positions the new fast pace, and high scoring XFL is looking to sign.
Oliver Luck has said many times that besides Quarterback play, Offensive line play is critical to the success of the league. He felt one thing lacking in the AAF’s games was the lack of good quality offensive lineman. Lineman are hard to find in the NFL and could be harder to find in the XFL.
Here are our top 10 undrafted players who could sign with the XFL
Terronne Prescod, OG, NC State. He is a 6-foot-5, 330-plus pound big guy.
Beau Benzschawel, OG, Wisconsin. His Offensive line teammates, Michael Deiter and David Edwards, were picked in the NFL draft.
Anthony Johnson, WR, Buffalo. Johnson is Jadeveon Clowney, outside linebacker for the Houston Texans’ cousin.
Antoine Wesley, WR, Texas Tech. Wesley was a playmaker at Texas Tech, suited well for the XFL.
Stanley Morgan, WR, Nebraska. He can make the tough catch, which could be crucial in the XFL based on the Offensive line and Quarterback play. You might need a guy like him.
Elijah Holyfield, RB, Georgia. He has good feet and explosive play ability.
Fred Johnson, OG, Florida. Johnson is a huge guy who’s hard to move.
Emanuel Hall, WR, Missouri. Hall played with quarterback Drew Lock who was drafted by the Broncos 42nd overall of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Nate Herbig, OG, Stanford. Look for the Luck / Pep Hamilton Stanford connection with this player.
Jakobi Meyers, WR, NC State. Meyers was the go-to guy for Ryan Finley at NC State.
Keep in mind there is still an undrafted free agent market taking place this week. These players might sign with NFL teams soon. But the option of the XFL out there could change some players minds.
