The United Football League, the premier spring football league, has announced the results of today’s second round of the player dispersal process.
Players selected will have the opportunity to be amongst the 75 roster spots allotted to each team for training camp, which begins on Feb. 24 in Arlington, Texas, the hub of the UFL.
Coming into today’s draft, players who were not protected or selected in the Jan. 5 dispersal process were available, regardless of previous league.
Amongst those selected for the XFL, was QB Quinten Dormady (ORL) who ranked No. 2 in the league for completions with a 68.3 percentage with more than five games played. For the USFL, K Luis Aguilar who finished 1st in scoring with 94 points, beating out current Dallas Cowboys K and former Birmingham Stallions, Brandon Aubrey.
Free agency for players who were not selected in the dispersal process, or who did not play in the USFL or XFL in 2023, begins on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The deadline for teams to lock in their 75 training camp roster spots is Feb. 14.
