According to XFL News Hub’s Mike Mitchell, the Tennessee Titans are expected to sign Wildcast K Giorgio Tavecchio to their practice squad. He is the third XFL player to sign with Tennessee. Roughnecks G Avery Gennesy and Guardians G Zac Kerin were cut before the NFL season.

Tavecchio is the sixth LA Wildcats player to sign a pro deal. He joins OT Storm Norton who is on the Chargers active roster. Khalil McKenzie (Bengals), and Josh Johnson(49ers) practice squads.

He was brought in after Wildcats starting kicker Nick Novack was placed on IR. At 30 years old, he has had pro stops with the 49ers, Packers, Lions, Raiders, and Falcons. He played his college ball at the University of California-Berkeley.
