Lucky 14: Battlehawks Lead from the Front as Brian Hill and Elijah Hamilton Earn NFL Contracts

Monday was a busy day for Battlehawks fans as two fan favorites departed to the NFL. St. Louis saw their 13th and 14th players earn NFL opportunities as St. Louis local Brian Hill and Elijah Hamilton each sign contracts with the 49ers and Green Bay Packers respectively.

Hamilton played in nine games for the Battlehawks and made 13 total tackles, including two for a loss. After playing Six seasons at Vanderbilt and Louisiana Tech, Hamilton was a UDFA by the Miami Dolphins in 2022. On August 29th, 2022 Hamilton was waived by Miami and would join the Battlehawks as a reserve DB.

Hill was the leading rusher for St. Louis appearing in eight games and carrying the ball 88 times for 416 yards and touchdown. He also made 24 catches for an additional 204 yards and a touchdown. Hill joins his 5th NFL team going on his 2nd stint with the 49ers, since coming out of Wyoming in 2017, as a 5th round draft pick.
