CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers Sign New York Guardians DB Ranthony Texada to a one year deal. Texada will join, Armanti Edwards, Sergio Castillo, Jalen Saunders, and Dontez Byrd in the CFL.

He is the first XFL player to sign with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He finished the 5 game XFL season with 16 tackles and one sack.
Texada was drafted 10th round, 79th overall, in the Phase #4 portion of the 2020 XFL draft. He was drafted by the New York Guardians.
He played his college ball at Texas Christian University. At 24 years old he had stops with Redskins and Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL.
