XFL L.A. Adds Director of Football Ops And Player Personnel

XFL Los Angeles Coach Winston Moss has added some key personal to his staff. Today they announced Director of Football Operations Charles Bailey and Director of Player Personnel Joey Clinkscales to the franchise.

Clinkscales is the former Director of Player Personnel for the Oakland Raiders from 2012 to 2019. He was drafted in 1987 by the Pittsburgh Steelers to play Wide Receiver. He played in the NFL for only two seasons, one with the Steelers, and then one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. From 1994 to 2012 he worked in the front office for the New York Jets as Vice President of College Scouting.

Bailey has been an assistant GM and executive with the Steelers, Saints, Jaguars, and Browns. He was with Jacksonville from 2003 to 2008 as Director of Pro Personnel. Most recently he was part of the Cleveland Browns front office. Bailey was interviewed for several jobs in the NFL including the Washington Redskins GM position in 2017.

    This team is going to flop harder than the Chargers! Mark my words, if the XFL makes it to 2021, L.A. not the Rams/not the Chargers will be the first ones to relocate!
