Football Scoop is reporting that Tony Softli will join XFL Seattle as its new director of player personnel. Tony was most recently with the Alliance of American Football as the League Office Director of Scouting.
Softli was the director of College Scouting with the Carolina Panthers from 1995 to 2006. Then was named VP Of Player Personal with the St Louis Rams from 2006 to 2011. After that, he had various media gigs until the AAF called in 2018.
He joins Head Football Coach/GM Jim Zorn, Team President Ryan Gustafson and Defensive Coordinator Clayton Lopez with the XFL Seattle franchise. Softli will work closely with Zorn and Director of Football Operations Matt Hayes with player decisions.
