PFT Commenter Not Signed By DC Defenders, Full Recap

Over the past two weeks, Barstool Sports personality PFT Commenter has chronicled his journey to become an XFL Kicker. With the assistance of his experience in rugby and training by mentor, Morton Andersen, many of his fans were under the impression that his chances were serious.

A native of the Washington D.C. and Virginia area, PFT connected with and attended a DC Defenders tryout. Bearing a single-bar, DC Defenders helmet and goggles, he was surprisingly impressive in his ability to connect from 30-40 yards.

On Thursday, PFT received a call from DC Defenders head coach, Alfonza ‘Pep’ Hamilton, who informed the Pardon My Take host of his plans to go in a different direction.

I was able to speak to PFT on Twitter where he expressed his gratitude towards the Defenders organization and coach Pepin. He also suggested that he would be open to signing with another organization and creating a strong rivalry with his hometown team.

Barstool Sports is located on 7th Ave. in Manhattan, NY. The New York Guardians are located a mere 10 miles away from the media companies headquarters and will immediately be speculated as a landing spot for the free agent Kicker and blogger. Many XFL and Barstool fans believe the unity would be good for both content and exposure to the new league that kicks off on February 8th. To be continued…
