On New Years Day, thirty minutes after the ball dropped in Times Square. The New York Guardians released their alternate logo. A combination of the big G in Guardians and NY in New York. We reported on these alternate XFL team logos back in September.

There is no word on when and if you can buy XFL merchandise with the new secondary Guardians logo on it. That is not the only logo trademarked in September. There was a second front-facing Lion or Wildcat logo as well.
XFL fans could also see a new Dallas Renegades or Houston Roughnecks secondary logo option coming soon.
The New York Guardians kick off their season against the Tampa Bay Vipers on Sunday, February 9th, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
