XFL’s Social Media Comes To Life, Is This A Turning Point

Not since the XFL shut down its doors have we seen more than two tweets in one day from the XFL. But we did get that yesterday, along with tweets from several key XFL personnel, all around the same time. Could the XFL be a bit worried that the USFL is gaining tracking with fans and pulling a ‘hay, we are here too’ message?

First, this message from the XFL about national women’s day and Co-Owner and Chairwoman of the XFL Dany Garcia.

“Today and everyday, we celebrate our Co-Owner and Chairwoman

@DanyGarciaCo as the first woman to own a professional sports league and whose actionable insight, acute business acumen and creativity is making the dream of tomorrow’s football a reality. “

A couple of hours later, we get another message.

“We had ALL eyes on the #NFLCombine. Now we’re wrapped, scouting reports are filed, and XFL Football Ops are off to College Pro Days! 👀”

We then get another message from Dany Garcia herself.

“And so the scouting begins …

A big step for our @XFL2023 as we begin forming an incredible roster of teams, elevating the game of football and the resulting experience for fans.

Time to build.
@XFL2023 🏈”

Tweets from the XFL scouting department followed this.

Dany Garcia had posted on Instagram that she is in NYC, which happens to be the home of RedBird Capital Partners. Could she be there to discuss the next steps for the XFL? We may be getting some more news beyond the NFL and XFL partnership soon.
