The San Antonio Brahmas sought out their second consecutive win last week against the Vegas Vipers. However, things did not go their way, and they ended up with a bad loss as a result.
This week, the team needs a win. San Antonio begins a three-game homestand to end the season, and their first opponent of the homestand is a division rival.
The Brahmas welcome the Houston Roughnecks for Week 8. The Roughnecks have not had the best of times as of late. Houston began the season 4-0, but have dropped three straight contests.
Can the Brahmas pull off an ever-important win with their playoff hopes hanging by a thread? Or will the Roughnecks get back on track after their impressive start to the season? Here is a look at the game from the Brahmas perspective.

San Antonio Brahmas Prediction
The Brahmas nearly defeated the Roughnecks in their previous matchup. San Antonio could chalk up that loss to poor offensive playcalling on a goal-to-go situation in the second half.
The Brahmas have a new offensive coordinator, but things haven’t gotten much better on that side of the ball. San Antonio has rotated quarterbacks, and it doesn’t seem like they have a set identity right now.
This has all the makings of a “get right” game for the Roughnecks. They should come out on top in this one. However, the Brahmas could definitely keep this a close game throughout.
Prediction: Houston Roughnecks 20, San Antonio Brahmas 17
