XFL To Air Shows On ABC And ESPN Plus Prior To Kick-Off Of 2023 Season

After digging into Xfinity’s program listings and ESPN Plus, we found two XFL shows airing on opening weekend.

ABC will air a one-hour special on the XFL. The official title of the program has not been released.

The program will start at 2 pm ET and will lead into the kick-off of the 2023 XFL season. The 3 pm game on ABC will feature a match-up between the Vegas Vipers and Arlington Renegades.

On Sunday, ESPN Plus will air a 30-minute TV show called XFL Today. This TV show could be a weekly series, but no official announcement has been made.

The program will start at 2:30 pm ET and will lead into the kick-off of day 2 of the 2023 XFL season. The 3 pm game on ABC featuring a match-up between the St. Louis Battlehawks and San Antonio Brahmas.

There should be a big ramp up of advertising on ESPN and ABC post Super Bowl as the league gears up to get as many eyes as possible on that opening weekend.
