As we pass the halfway point of the XFL season, teams are allowed to expand their rosters to a maximum of 57 bodies. The rule helps to combat nagging injuries and playing players who aren’t ready to go at full speed. The gameday rule of 46 active players remains the same, but the extra bodies late in the season will help each team move at the same pace they have been.
