We have all been wondering where XFL CEO and Commissioner Oliver Luck has been after the abrupt ending of the XFL two weeks ago. Luck, the face of the XFL was not on the conference call to employees. He has not been heard of since, now we know why.
According to a report by Darren Rovell, XFL commissioner Oliver Luck has sued XFL owner Vince McMahon for millions.
“Luck, through his attorneys, said he was wrongfully terminated in a case that was filed in Connecticut last Thursday and is owed the money that he was guaranteed when he signed on to become the commissioner in May 2018.”
How much was Luck guaranteed when he signed to be commissioner of the XFL?
“Sources say Luck received a contract for in between $20-25 million over five years. The contract stipulated he’d be due the remaining balance if terminated without cause.”
An ugly situation got even more unpleasant. We might never hear from Oliver Luck because it could affect his legal proceedings. It looks like McMahon might get out of paying Luck the remainder of his contract.

I think this shows that Vince wasn’t 100% committed to the league because Luck was so good for the XFL
