
The XFL continues to hire for more positions. This time the XFL is looking to fill its social media teams and salespeople. The league continues to build up its staff before the February 2023 kickoff.
Manager, Social Media (Team)
The XFL is seeking a Social Media Manager to serve as the go-to for one of the eight XFL Team’s social media posts. The manager is responsible for creating and programming social media content for the XFL CITY team followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and more. In addition, they will create and post content, generate analytics and reporting, corporate partner initiatives, and event coverage. This person will represent the team and be the voice of the brand across all channels, as well as devise, coordinate and execute multi-platform strategies for internal and external campaigns. This position will have a dual reporting relationship to the Director, Marketing & Content [XFL Team].
The XFL is looking for people in the team home location and Texas. So it seems like 16 people are doing social media work for the XFL.
Director Marketing & Content (Team)
The XFL is seeking a Director, Marketing & Content for one of the eight XFL Teams. This person will be a brand-builder, experienced in ticket sales marketing, passionate about digital content trends, and utilize a journalistic approach to content creation. They will also manage a small content team and be responsible for writing, editing and day-to-day management of the Team’s website and social platforms. They will implement the team’s social media strategy and manage execution of publishing content for their XFL Teams accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and other potential emerging social channels. This position will have a dual reporting relationship to the Head of Content, XFL and the Team’s VP of Business and Event Operations.
Manager, Sponsorship Sales (Team)
The Manager of TEAM Partnership Sales for one of the eight XFL Teams, is a self-starter with sponsorship sales experience in sports and/or entertainment. This individual should possess strong sales acumen and knowledge of sports and entertainment. The key focus with this role is to sell Team based assets to local brands that will help to achieve the revenue goals and fan engagement objectives of the Team sponsorship revenue goals. The Manager of TEAM Partnership Sales will work with the Chief Revenue Officer, executive team and management at the League office to support the strategic approach to driving long-term corporate partnership revenue for the XFL. This position will have a dual reporting relationship to the Team’s VP of Business and Event Operations.
Director of Partnership Sales, XFL
The Director of Partnership Sales is a self-starter with sponsorship sales experience in sports and/or entertainment. This individual should possess strong sales acumen and knowledge of sports and entertainment. The key focus with this role is to sell League assets to national and local brands that will help to achieve the revenue goals and fan engagement objectives of the XFL.
