
While the XFL Shop is still closed due to the potential team names and logos released this week. The XFL Careers section has been in full swing over the last month. The XFL has added even more positions on their job postings site since we last reported it in August. Assistant Performance Coach, Coordinator, Human Resources, Manager CRM & Data Analytics, and Director Website, to name a few.
We will break them all down and their roles.
Assistant Performance Coach
The XFL is looking for motivated, hungry coaches that will create a positive training environment while increasing athletic performance, reducing injury risk, and maximizing the overall health of every player through a forward-facing lens and a relentless work ethic. Our Performance Department is seeking highly professional, team-oriented applicants who have a passion for player development and who are willing to go above and beyond to not only help the players of the XFL achieve their dreams, but to also help create the new standard for league-wide high performance. Here at the XFL, we are the League of Tomorrow which will require our team to be extremely innovative, supporters of inclusivity and opportunity, effective communicators throughout all departments, and continually open to new ideas that will eventually change the game in terms of how Football is done!
Assistant Athletic Trainer
- The Assistant Athletic Trainer will assist with the prevention, care, rehabilitation, and recovery of injury for a XFL team.
- The Assistant Athletic Trainer will be a member of the XFL Human Performance Team that will provide the highest standard of care for the leagues athletes while developing health and wellness strategies that will assist with the advancement of individual, team, and league goals.
Coordinator, Human Resources
The XFL Human Resources Coordinator will provide comprehensive support and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the People Operations department. This position will provide administrative support for all HR processes, programs, reporting, and policies. This role will provide prompt, efficient, and distinctive service to internal clients in response to transactional and operational events occurring throughout the employee life cycle.
Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant supports XFL’sXFL’s day-to-day accounting operations including AP functions, month-end close process, account reconciliation, sales & use tax submission, and other projects. This position must demonstrate strong independent reasoning, critical thinking, ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail.
Director Ticket Sales & Service
The Senior Director, Ticket Sales and Service will be responsible for developing and managing sales and service campaigns for the XFL’sXFL’s teams, across a full menu of ticket products, including season ticket memberships, group tickets, premium seating, and individual game tickets. This will include the creation and implementation of pricing, packaging and retention strategies and assist in overseeing ticket operations across the league and its eight team markets.
Director of Sales & Experience
The Director of Ticket Sales and Experience aims to drive the ticket sales team to achieve the team’steam’s overall ticket sales goal on an annual basis. The Director of Ticket Sales and Experience reports to the SVP, Ticketing , XFL and supports, motivates and manages the ticket sales staff, while executing the team’steam’s sales plan and customer service execution, through the sales of Season, Group and Premium Seating Ticket packages. The position will also be responsible for achieving their own individual sales goals and attain a high level of customer service.
Manager CRM & Data Analytics
The Manager, CRM and Analytics will play an integral role in shaping ticketing strategy across the XFL. This person will be passionate about turning data into actionable insights in a fast-paced environment across different functional areas of the business. This critical role will be focused on ticketing purchases and historical data, extending and delivering the data analytics to drive business performances for a full menu of ticket products, including season memberships, group tickets, suites, and individual game tickets. Additionally, this person will perform similar functions for XFL Shop and other key consumer facing initiatives. They will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop data insights and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements in the overall data ecosystem. This individual will be working remotely and require a high-level of personal accountability. This person should have a team player attitude and demonstrate a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly and efficiently under pressure. The XFL and its teams are passionate about the guest experience for visitors and staff we support.
Director Website
The XFL is seeking a Director, Website to join our the XFL Content team. As a leader of the XFL’sXFL’s web team, this person will manage resources and be responsible for day-to-day management of the league and team’steam’s websites. The ideal candidate should be creative, meticulous, versatile, and passionate about digital content trends, website technology, and partner integrations. This person reports to the Head of Digital Content.
Manager, Benefits
The XFL Benefits Manager will oversee the company-wide benefit programs for players and non-football staff including retirement plans, medical, life / AD&D, disability benefits and FMLA administration. The Benefits Manager is responsible for analyzing and evaluating current benefits practices and making recommendations on new and/or improved employee benefit plans and cost-saving measures while ensuring company offerings are competitive. In partnership with the third-party benefits broker, the Benefits Manager ensures compliance with all legal requirements of various employee benefit programs and reviews.
Ticket Sales Experience Manager
Under general direction, this position is responsible for driving new business through the sale of ticket packages, including season tickets, group tickets, and premium seating for XFL. This position will be based in one of the eight XFL team markets and will report directly to the Team’sTeam’s Director of Ticket Sales and Experience.
What is interesting about most of these jobs is they are remote work from home, with some travel to Arlington, Texas. The XFL see’s where the trend is going in the job market post-pandemic. People want to work from home, and the XFL wants to get its best people.
