
The TV ratings are in for Week 4 of the XFL 2023 season. The XFL had two games each air this past weekend on FX and ESPN2.

Fourteen of XFL 2023’s sixteen games have aired on cable, with each game airing on ESPN+. The league’s only two airings on network television ABC averaged over 1.5 million viewers. The XFL will not be back on ABC until Week 6.
The league’s first fourteen cable telecasts have all been ranked in the top 25 out of 150 Cable TV shows in the desired 18-49 demographic. Let’s take a look at how the XFL fared this past weekend. Especially as they hit March Madness time.
XFL 2023 Week 4 TV Ratings 3/11-3/12
The first part of a Saturday night doubleheader on FX featuring the Houston Roughnecks and Orlando Guardians averaged 405,000 viewers. The telecast was ranked 51st out of 150 Cable TV shows in the desired 18-49 demographic.
Game #2, late Saturday night on FX between the Seattle Sea Dragons and San Antonio Brahmas, averaged 343,000 viewers. The telecast ranked 31st out of 150 Cable TV shows in the 18-49 demo.
Sunday afternoon’s XFL game on ESPN2, which saw a league record-setting 38,310 fans in St. Louis watch the Battlehawks top the Arlington Renegades, averaged 572,000 viewers. The game was ranked 28th out of 150 Cable TV shows in the 18-49 demographic.

The Week 4 XFL finale Sunday night on ESPN2 between the D.C. Defenders and Vegas Vipers averaged 691,000 viewers. The telecast peaked at 779,000 viewers. The game was rated 22nd out of 150 Cable TV shows in the 18-49 demographic.

XFL WEEK 5 TV Schedule
Once again, the XFL will have a full slate of Cable TV telecasts in Week 5.
The league does return to ESPN in a unique late Thursday night airing featuring the unbeaten 4-0 Houston Roughnecks and the 2-2 Seattle Sea Dragons. Sandwiched in between Week 5’s slate are two Saturday Night games on FX. The final game of the week between Arlington and San Antonio airs Sunday night on ESPN2.
