Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment Logo Opposed By Adidas

The world was in shock and awe when WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon announced that he will be relaunching The XFL in early 2020. McMahon is bringing back the football league that unfortunately closed down only after its first season through his new Alpha Entertainment Company, but it looks like he has run into a challenge along the way. According to PWInsider.com, one of the biggest sports clothing company in the world known as Adidas is set to pursue Vince McMahon’s trademark for The Alpha Entertainment logo, which Adidas feels looks similar to their own logo. No official lawsuit has been filed yet, but it may not be too much longer until the proceedings begin. It is being said that Adidas has only until March 6th, 2019 to file an opposition or ask for another extension. Details on The XFL’s relaunch still remains scarce, but McMahon announced earlier this year that Oliver Luck will be The CEO for the resurrected football league.
