Topps Now Releases New Cards In XFL Limited Series Set

Awhile back the XFL announced they partnered with trading card company Topps to produce their inaugural season card set. If you recall Topps was the company that originally made the 2001 card set as well. Yet unlike then, Topps has a new special series they create on a Print by Demand deal.

This series of XFL football cards is different than the base set they will be producing and releasing in March. Each series of the Topps Now set only has a seven-day window to put your order in. Once that time expires you will have to get them from eBay or some other online reseller who ordered a bunch to mark up the price.

The “Now” series, as with the AAF, was released on Monday after the games finished. This gives them a chance to get all the photos needed to make the cards. Each week they release a certain number of cards that feature different players or teams or just an amazing play that happened in a game.

For anybody but a collector, that doesn’t sound like such a big deal. If you are a collector then you want these cards. I ordered my set of 7 which ran around $50 for the set (after taxes). You can purchase the cards individually for $9.99 each. You can buy more of a single card and get that card down to as low as $3.50 each when you buy 20 of them.

If you are a fan and a collector you can go directly to Topps’ website and purchase them now. You only have a few days left so hurry.

Remember to check back every Monday as they will have a new set to get.

This first week’s cards are available for seven days, but in the past, they have only been available for 24 hours so this might be a one time deal for seven days.

Either way, you should check back every Monday to see what the next series will include. Enjoy and happy collecting.
