St Louis BattleHawks DE Will Clarke Signs With Detroit Lions

St Louis BattleHawks DE Will Clarke has signed a one year deal with the Detroit Lions. He is the only XFL player on the roster and the eighth BattleHawk to sign with a pro team. The Lions cut offensive lineman Caleb Benenoch to make room for him.

Clarke played in 3 of the leagues 5 games and finished with 8 tackles, 3 QB hits, 1 sack and 1 tackle for a loss.

He was a third-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014 and played briefly for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018. He played his college ball at West Virginia.
