After being cut by the Dallas Cowboys, the Seahawks sign Houston Roughnecks DL Walter Palmore. He joins Saivion Smith who was also recently waived by Dallas and signs with Seattle. He is one of 4 Roughnecks on NFL rosters.
Palmore, 24, was undrafted out of Missouri in 2019. He signed with the Texans but was waived before the regular season. For Dallas, he spent most of the time on the practice squad but was elevated in Week 17 against the Giants.
During his two years at Missouri, Palmore recorded 27 tackles, one sack, and two passes defended over 16 games.
Palmore was drafted in the Phase #5 portion of the 2020 XFL Draft by the Houston Roughnecks. He played in 2 XFL games getting 6 tackles, 0.5 Sacks, 1 QB Hit, and 1 Tackle For A Loss.
