Dallas Cowboys Cut CB Saivion Smith & DT Walter Palmore Of Roughnecks

Two XFL players have been cut today by the Dallas Cowboys. CB Saivion Smith and DT Walter Palmore both of the Houston Roughnecks were let go, to bring the Cowboys roster down to 90 players.

Smith played in 6 games and Palmore played in 1 for the Cowboys 2020 NFL season.

Smith had 8 tackles and 1 pass break up in two games for the Roughnecks. He was inactive the final three.

Smith was selected in the XFL Supplemental Draft by the Houston Roughnecks. He had stops with the Jacksonville Jaguars and played his college ball at LSU and Alabama.

Palmore was drafted in the Phase #5 portion of the 2020 XFL Draft by the Houston Roughnecks. He played in 2 XFL games getting 6 tackles, 0.5 Sacks, 1 QB Hit, and 1 Tackle For A Loss. He had stops with the Houston Texans and played his college ball at Missouri.
