Seattle Sea Dragons QB Ben DiNucci Signs With Denver Broncos

On Sunday, it was announced Seattle Sea Dragons quarterback Ben DiNucci officially signed with the NFL’s Denver Broncos via Ari Mirnov & Adam Schefter on Twitter. While many players received NFL camp invites after the XFL’s regular season ended, DiNucci is the first XFL player to officially sign with an NFL team this year.

DiNucci ended the XFL’s 10-game regular season, completing 242/374 passes (64.7% Comp) for a league-leading 2,671 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. He also finished the year as Seattle’s leading rusher, taking 53 carries for 305 yards and 3 touchdowns.

After leading the Sea Dragons to a 7-3 record and a playoff appearance, Ben DiNucci joins a quarterback room in Denver with Jarrett Stidham and Jarrett Guarantano competing to backup Bronco’s starting quarterback Russell Wilson.
