Seattle Sea Dragons Announce First Wave Of Roster Cuts

On Tuesday, The Seattle Sea Dragons announced their first wave of roster cuts ahead of Friday’s deadline.

Seattle released three players in their first wave of cuts, including:

  • WR – Kevin Shaa
  • OL – Zech Thomas
  • LB – Joe Beckett

These moves bring the Sea Dragons down to 67 players currently on the roster. However, they’ll need to cut another 16 players before Friday’s deadline to bring them down to 51 for the regular season.

Seattle hasn’t been as active in trimming their roster as some of the XFL’s other franchises up to this point, so expect a busy few days with more cuts ahead of Friday’s deadline.
