Pittsburgh Steelers Sign NY Guardians DT Cavon Walker

New York Guardians defensive tackle Cavon Walker has signed a one year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers according to NFL Draft Diamonds. He joins fellow teammate Dravon Askew-Henry with new contracts in the NFL.

Walker lead the XFL in sacks with 4.5. He finished the shortened season with 19 tackles, 5 for loss and 9 QB hits. He was drafted in the 8th round of the Phase 3 portion of the 2020 XFL Draft.

He played his college ball at the University of Maryland. He spent time with the Bears and Chiefs.
