The Creative Director position is the most interesting with talk of an XFL Creative Studio.
Director Performance Marketing
The XFL is seeking a Director, Performance Marketing to join our Marketing & Brand team. This role will report to our VP, Marketing & Brand and lead all Performance Marketing for the League and it’s eight (8) teams. This role oversees teams focused on all digital levers, including search marketing, content, programmatic, display, email, social, marketplace and affiliate marketing channels. The right leader will be prepared to motivate, develop and grow this team and understands how advertising can translate to ticket sales. Key partnerships will exist with the Marketing & Brand, Creative, and Ticket Sales teams.
Recruiter
As a direct report to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter will primarily be responsible for executing full life-cycle recruitment activities for various open positions throughout the XFL. This is a hands-on role responsible for direct candidate recruitment, as well as developing and implementing sourcing strategies that lead to the achievement of business hiring objectives.
Art Director
The XFL is seeking an Art Director with a love of football, design and typography to join their creative team. As an Art Director with the XFL you’ll take charge concepting and executing brand materials and campaigns for use across all touch points of the brand, on and off the field supporting business and football operations across the League and it’s eight (8) teams. You will collaborate with and lead other members of the creative team to create both printed and digital assets for use throughout the season and offseason. Your portfolio should show capability within multiple design disciplines as well as varying visual directions.
The Art Director plays an essential role in designing and assuring excellence in the execution of graphic design concepts for print and digital in collaboration with the XFL’s Creative Director. The Art Director is a creative problem-solver who develops creative concepts and produce final artwork or copy. This includes understanding and implementing brand initiatives and campaigns, and ensuring all designs meet XFL and team brand guidelines as well as clients’ specific needs.
Creative Director
The XFL is seeking a Creative Director to join our XFL Creative Studio. This role will report to our VP, Marketing & Brand and oversee the concepting and development of all creative content developed in house or with agency partners. This individual will help to shape our creative strategy and will work close closely with our VP, Marketing & Brand Strategy to build a clear vision for how the XFL and its eight (8) teams’ brands translates to our creative content and will play a key role in the development of our brand architecture and identity. The Creative Director will lead the Creative Studio in pushing creative boundaries while supporting organizational needs in order to further strengthen the brand and enhance fan and client engagement. This role will also help support the enhancement of departmental processes.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary who is grounded in results and understands how to turn big ideas into tangible results for the organization. They will be an exceptional people leader with a keen ability to motivate, guide and develop teams and will be passionate about the development of their organization. They will have experience in the sports and entertainment industry, a strong creative background and proven success as a leader of people that can help sculpt, motivate and develop staff while helping drive inspiration to push creative boundaries to elevate the XFL and its teams’ brands as a modern-day sports league.
