LA Wildcats Taiwan Jones Wants Eminem To Bring XFL Team To Detroit

Taiwan Jones LB for the Los Angeles Wildcats wants rapper Eminem to bring an XFL franchise to Detroit. With renewed interest in the league since being purchased by The Rock, Dany Garcia, and RedBird Partners. Fans want XFL teams in their own backyard.

Recently the city of Birmingham Alabama let it be known, their locale was interested in an XFL franchise. Birmingham was the home of the AAF’s Birmingham Iron.

In the past, Eminem had shown an interest in the Alliance of American Football.

“DEAR @THEAAF, PLEASE ENTERTAIN THIS THOUGHT REGARDING THE @AAFIRON @AAFEXPRESS GAME: ALLOWING THE PLAYERS TO ACTUALLY FIGHT WOULD BE KEY TO LEAGUE’S SUCCESS LIKE HOCKEY, I WOULD WATCH EVERY GAME (EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO DETROIT TEAM YET – HINT). DON’T BLOW IT. SINCERELY, MARSHALL”

Jones sent out the following Tweet.

Jones played in all 5 games of the XFL season and finished with 15 tackles. Eminem as co-owner of an XFL franchise would be really intriguing. Dany Garcia has said the league would be interested in expanding in the future.
