Jets Sign Former Roughnecks LB Edmond Robinson

The New Yor Jets have announced that they have signed for Houston Roughnecks LB Edmond Robinson.

Last season the Houston star was also part of the Atlanta Falcons active roster after being part of their practice squad.

Robinson was drafted by the Vikings in 2015, and sown t 2 seasons there until he went to spend his first stint with the Jets in 2017.

In 2018 he was out of the NFL, but made his was to the AAF’s Arizona Hotshots, where he stated there until that league folded due to a myriad of issues.

In the 5 games he played during the XFL season before it was cut short due to the pandemic, Robinson had 22 tackles, 2 were sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

while with the Falcons last season, he made his way to the Gameday roster in weeks 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. And at Week 10, he was signed to their active 54 man squad.

Of course everyone has their work cut out for them, but I don’t know that the hill to climb will be as steep this time. We will see, and give him all the best.
