Kenny Robinson was one of the 2020 XFL’s best stories when he joined the Battlehawks. Joining the league prior to the NFL Draft Robinson opted to test his luck by joining Vince McMahon’s league in an effort to support his family especially his mother who was battling cancer. Now with the USFL and XFL set to merge Kenny Robinson looks to return to Spring Football this time with the Birmingham Stallions.

Robinson was an instant star for St. Louis over the Five games totaling 23 tackles and 2 interceptions in the XFL. Robinson would end up getting drafted in the 5th round of the 2020 NFL draft, spending Three seasons with the Carolina Panthers appearing in 19 games over his NFL career. Robinson would spend 2023 with the Pittsburgh Steelers during training camp but was released during final cuts.

Robinson got called up from the practice squad on Saturday.
Currently the Stallions the roster will be up to 55 as the merger with the XFL is finalized. With the Stallions looking to “defend” their crown in 2024, Birmingham will be up against a new crop of talent and a new challenge. Birmingham has been 21-3 since their return to pro football in 2022.
